Nashi no Kihara is located in the neighboring town from the UNESCO World Heritage site "Iwami Ginzan." This mountain village is built on an elevated plateau, from which "Mt. Sanbe" featured in Izumo's land-dragging myth can be seen. Here, you can participate in hands-on activities that allow you to experience the rural way of life, such as picking seasonal vegetables and fruits. As the open-air bath is a Goemon bath, the firewood is made using a wood-splitting machine before the bath is filled with water and a fire is started to bring the water to a boil. Don't miss this rare experience of manually heating up the bath on your own! The Goemon bath will warm up the core of your body.
